Live Better...Live Longer!

Your stuck in fight or flight and that's why your sick.

In Chiropractic we know and recognize that within each and every living being there is an innate intelligence flowing through our nerve system and coordinates five functions:

These five functions are:

Protection-Think fight or flight. Life or death. Being chased by a bear, lifting a fallen tree off your loved one.

Adaptation-Think changes to your environment. Air, water or food. Hot, cold, dry, wet, humid or even pollen. Changes in seasons.

Reproduction-Think conceiving a child.

Creation-Think the creation of new cells, tissues and organs to replacing dying cells.

Restoration-Think the healing process. Your immune system.

The reason why your sick is that like most people you live a chaotic life. Your probably overwhelmed by trauma, toxins and negative thoughts to the point that your innate intelligence is stuck in protection. How do I know this? Well if your like the majority of people in our community you probably suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, digestive disorders, asthma, heart disease, infertility or anxiety.

When you are in fight or flight mode, you actually need high blood pressure, high sugar, high cholesterol, limited digestion and an increased heart rate to protect yourself for just a few seconds or minutes until your safe again. This should not last for days, weeks, months or years. Creation and reproduction take a back seat when the body is in protection mode

Chiropractic care is a great way to allow your body to function properly by helping your nerve system work properly and not get stuck in fight or flight.

Maintain or thrive? The choice is yours.

Maintain or thrive? The choice is yours. Many people believe that these two words are interchangeable especially when it comes to chiropractic care.

Here are the two definitions:

To thrive is to grow or develop well or vigorously. To prosper or flourish.

To maintain is to cause or enable. To provide with necessities for life or existence.

At Blumsack Family Chiropractic we have a mission to continuously improve the health of our sick and dying community. The only way to do this is to buck the status quo and give the best recommendations possible to every one of the families that walks through our practice doors. It is for that reason that we will always recommend weekly wellness care over monthly maintenance care. Ultimately the choice is yours.

We provide 3 types of Chiropractic care to our patients regardless of age.

Condition Care is designed to create better communication between the brain and the body allowing for improved nerve flow, body function and healing. Under condition care a patient may be seen multiple times per day/week and is approximately8-26 weeks in length.

Corrective Care is designed to help remove the hidden layers of damage that have built up over a period of months, years or decadesthat eventually led to a specific condition, poor body function or poor healing. Under corrective care a patient is seen 2 times per week and is approximately 6 months to 2 1/2 years in length.

Wellness Care is designed to address the most recent layers of damage that may occur due to the everyday stresses of trauma, toxins and negative thoughts while also working towards specific health related goals. Under wellness care a patient is evaluated 1 time per week continues this type of care throughout their lifetime.

As a person grows, ages they will be exposed to new traumas, toxins and negative thoughts it is very common for them to cycle through the Condition, Corrective and Wellness Care many times through out their lifetime.

Condition Care is a per visit fee while Corrective/Wellness Care is a set monthly fee.

Why the Change?

Our mission is to empower others for extraordinary living and we do this by helping sick people get well and then to show families how to Live Better...Live Longer! One of the ways we are working to fulfill our mission is to provide the most up to date chiropractic care based upon scientific research as well as where people achieve the best results for their health and well-being. That is one of the reasons that over the past 9 months I have started to place more emphasis on the upper cervical area of the spine where the brain stem is housed. The brainstem controls and coordinates all bodily function and when there is interference to this area of your spine (vertebral subluxation) your body’s ability to survive, adapt, reproduce, replicate and heal is now greatly diminished. This is not new to chiropractic as there is over 60 years of research indicating how important this area of the spine actually is. Somehow real truths get hidden over time.

Why the change? Because it was also in this same time period that I was having some health challenges that were not necessarily improving when I was being adjusted the same way I adjusted my patients. It just so happened that I was at a chiropractic seminar and asked someone I have known for a long time but only on a casual basis to check me. It was then that I received a specific upper cervical adjustment that not only changed how my spine felt but how I felt overall. It’s hard to explain the immediate sense of change I felt after that adjustment because it was not based upon symptoms but rather that I was out of alignment and needed to be adjusted. I started to sleep better, I handle stress better, and I stopped getting sick every few months as I started to become accustomed to.
There was something to this type of care that was totally different than what I was used to. And I knew that if it could change my life, it could change my family’s life and our patient’s life. That's why the change.
